Chemistry II
Chemistry II, Advanced Principles of Chemistry, builds upon the foundational concepts introduced in Chemistry I. This course covers a wide range of topics including intermolecular forces, liquids, solids, solutions, kinetics, equilibria, acids and bases, precipitation, thermodynamics, electrochemistry, organic chemistry, and nuclear chemistry. Topics covered include kinetics, equilibrium concepts, acid-base equilibria, equilibria of other reaction classes, thermodynamics, electrochemistry, representative metals, metalloids, and nonmetals, transition metals and coordination chemistry.
Module Breakdown:
In this 4-credit, 12-week course, you will explore 10 modules covering a wide range of chemistry topics. Each module includes a lecture, sample documentation, reflections, self-directed activities, quizzes, and a summary to reinforce learning.
